A Feral Cat’s Second Night Inside
This is what happened during a feral cat’s second night inside of a house. Ditto was put in a recovery crate after a trip to the vet. He was taken to a local animal hospital because he was limping and not putting any weight on his leg. The vet diagnosed him as having a puncture wound bite that got infected and the infection is what was causing his pain and swelling. They sent him home with some medications and requested two weeks of recovery in a safe space.
36″ Folding Metal Dog Crates
Ditto was set up in a Top Paw 36″ folding metal dog crate that I purchased at PetSmart. A 36″ crate is a good size for a cat because it has room for the cat to relax and stretch out as well as room for a food bowl, water bowl, and small or medium sized litter box. It also helps to keep the cat safe and off of their feet when recovering from a leg injury.
