Day 1069 – Stella was watching videos for cats and then she turned over the touch feeder because it had no crunchies in it. Close ups of the cats. Let’s take a trip to Tractor Supply to buy some cat food and experience an amazing rainbow while we’re there. Let’s take a look at what I bought. Hydrox ate the new food that I bought for dinner.
Day 1070 – Hydrox wanted breakfast. I gave him food.
Day 1071 – Stella was laying on the tablet. Simba was watching the goose family. Simba got brushed. The cats take over my bedroom all day. Hydrox was meowing at me. He had been laying under the house. He had some debris stuck to his face. I gave him some food and he relieved himself where he was eating. I did not see any worms in the poop. Ditto had some food also. Stella likes to press the touch feeder even when there’s no food in it.
Tractor Supply Cat Food
When I’m at Tractor Supply, I like to buy the 4Health Grain Free wet cat food for the cats. There are two varieties that I buy for them – Turkey and Giblets Dinner and Chicken and Whitefish Dinner. Let’s take a look at the ingredients:
4Health Turkey & Giblets Dinner: Turkey Broth, Turkey, Chicken, Chicken Liver, Chicken Hearts, Dried Egg Product, Guar Gum, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Minerals (Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Sodium Selenite, Potassium Iodide), Choline Chloride, Carrageenan, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Thiamine Mononitrate, Niacin Supplement, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid) Taurine.
4Health Chicken & Whitefish Dinner: Chicken Broth, Chicken, Poultry Liver, Whitefish, Dried Egg Product, Guar Gum, Salt, Potassium Chloride, Minerals (Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, Iron Amino Acid Chelate, Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Manganese Amino Acid Chelate, Sodium Selenite, Potassium Iodide), Choline Chloride, Vitamins (Thiamine Mononitrate, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, D-Calcium Pantothenate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Folic Acid), Carrageenan, Taurine.
All healthy and clean ingredients in both of these foods except for the carrageenan. That can be a controversial ingredient for some people. If you are avoiding carrageenan, avoid this food. However, since it is not included as one of the top 5 ingredients in the food, and it is lower down the list on both, I haven’t noticed any issues with it in any of the cats that have been eating this food. All food ingredients on cat foods in the USA are listed in the order of most to least.
