I thought this old postcard from 1910 was really cool. It says “Black Cat For Luck”. And then has this poem –
We are told by old writers, in verse and refrain,
That Good Luck the Black Cat e’er brings in its train,
So I send you this Pussy my wish to convey,
That Luck may attend you through Life’s long way.
Now who was the fool who said black cats were not lucky?
